Celebrate 100 years of music and song with the Orange Male Voice Choir. OMVC will be joined by a host of singers and musicians in this gala concert proclaiming its centenary year. The concert marks a watershed moment for OMVC; the achievement of 100 years of performance (local, regional and international) and the next chapter in the Choir’s life as it launches its second century.Join us along with our special guests for this glittering evening of magnificent music and entertainment. Showcasing a plethora of local talent of which the region can be justly proud, the concert features national star of musical theatre Jarrod Draper, tenor Michael Butchard, who has held a stellar career in Opera both in Australia & overseas, the Orange Regional Conservatorium Colour City Orchestra and celebrated composer/arranger/musician Paul Jarman. Orange Male Voice Choir will be joined on stage by the Sydney Male Choir and singers drawn from the Male Choirs Association of Australia to produce a thrilling impact of near to 140 voices. The concert will feature songs across a range of music genres and time, and guest performances from our past OMVC family.
