About this Event

Celestial Events Australia create unique events taking inspiration from some of our favourite authors, including Sarah J Maas and Rebecca Yarros.Dress as your favourite character and join us for immersive experiences with unforgettable events, bookish fun, and new best friends.

Celestial Events are non-licensed, non-official, fan-based events where we worship our favourite authors and get to dress up and try and relive our fantasy moments together.

Join us as we try to bring literature into reality, where new friends meet and pages come alive.

An exclusive pre-ball soirée for our Starfall Ball VIP and Autumn Court guests

Join us the evening before the ball for an elegant, intimate gathering at the stunning Bell Tower. Designed as a quieter space for connection and conversation, this event is the perfect way to ease into the magic of the weekend—especially for those attending solo or for the first time.

Enjoy a relaxed evening from 5:30pm to 7:30pm featuring:🎶 Live music🍷 Beer, wine, and soft drinks🧀 A grazing selection of tapas and canapés

Dress up or come as you are—just bring your excitement and your tiara! This is your chance to mingle with fellow Celestials in a warm, welcoming setting before the grandeur of the main ball.

I’m beyond excited to welcome you to this magical event!

Over the past few years, I’ve had the absolute joy of hosting more than 50 Celestial Events across Australia—from Brisbane to Sydney and Melbourne—for our ever-growing community of fantasy book lovers. We've even taken a tour group all the way to New York! With many guests returning again and again, the Celestial community is known for being incredibly welcoming—especially to new and solo attendees.

Before Celestial Events, I created large-scale events like Brisbane Fashion Month and Women in Fashion, but building this space for fantasy fans has truly been a dream come true.

CHARITY

For each event, we partner with a different charity that resonates with our attendees. For Perth 2026, we conducted a poll featuring various charities close to our hearts. It was a tough choice, as all the organisations are truly deserving of additional support. After careful consideration, we are proud to announce that this year we will be donating to the Black Dog Institute.

Black Dog Institute is a proudly independent not-for-profit globally renowned mental health research institute connected to UNSW Sydney. We are the only medical research institute in Australia that investigates mental health across the lifespan—from childhood to adulthood.

We believe in creating hope for those experiencing mental illness by improving mental health outcomes for all Australians.

QT HOTEL PERTH

One of the most luxurious ways to elevate your Starfall Ball experience is by staying at our Official Hotel. While completely optional, booking into the QT Hotel offers a magical opportunity to connect with fellow fae friends—all under one roof.

The QT will also be home to key Celestial Events experiences, including the Fantasy Book Signing Day, private dance classes, and our Celestial Yoga/Valkyrie sessions.
