Celebrate Family Weekend with a visit to UC San Diego’s most iconic landmark — Geisel Library. Known as the intellectual heart of campus, Geisel is as inspiring inside as it is striking from the outside. We have lots of activities lined up for you to celebrate with us. Self-Guided Tour
10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Grab a self-guided tour map at the Meet Spot, just inside Geisel’s front entrance, and wander at your own pace and uncover the Library’s best‑kept secrets. The self-guided tour takes approximately 20-25 minutes to complete and includes 5 points of interest.
You’re welcome to enjoy the panoramic views from Floors 4–8, but please be mindful that these are designated quiet (Floors 4–7) and silent (Floor 8) study areas.
