Join fellow union leaders and members from across Colorado for three days of highly engaging bargaining training at the Colorado Education Association Headquarters, November 13–15, 2026. Two training opportunities will be offered during the weekend: Mods 1 & 2: Introduction to Bargaining and Mod 3: Advanced Bargaining. Both trainings will cover essential bargaining fundamentals, strategies, and techniques while giving participants the opportunity to put those skills into practice through a realistic, interactive bargaining scenario. Participants will work through the scenario as a bargaining team, making proposals, developing strategies, responding to changing circumstances, and experiencing the dynamics of the bargaining table firsthand. All local associations are invited and encouraged to send members to participate. Whether you are new to bargaining or looking to strengthen your existing skills, this training will provide practical tools and experience that you can take directly back to your local association. Dinner on Friday evening, lunch on Saturday, and Saturday Happy Hour will be provided for attendees. All participants must register in advance using the registration link provided with this invitation. We encourage locals to take advantage of this opportunity to build bargaining skills, strengthen their teams, and prepare for successful negotiations.
Attendees must attend all three days of the training. We will begin at 4:30pm on Friday, will run from 9:00am to 5:30pm on Saturday, will start at 9am on Sunday and finish by noon on Sunday.
