Cotton Creek Men’s Golf Association (CCMGA) at Craft Farms, located in Gulf Shores, Alabama will be hosting our 3rd Annual Tee up for the Troops charity golf scramble on Veterans Day, Wednesday, 11 NOV 2026, with proceeds benefiting Warrior Legacy Ranch (WLR), a local veterans charity located in Robertsdale, Alabama. Only 1% of our nation serves in our military and as first responders. They are all selfless patriots putting their lives on the line so we the citizens of the U.S. can be free and safe. We are extremely privileged to live in a very patriotic community that honors and cherishes our country’s selfless veterans and first responders!
Sponsor/Donor Proceeds will benefit Warrior Legacy Ranch, (https://www.warriorlegacyranch.org) (EIN 93-3996612), providing veterans a place to reconnect with their unit members in a supportive environment, fostering camaraderie to help prevent veteran suicide and to strengthen bonds between veterans and their communities. The vision is to foster a community where veterans and families have access to community support.
The Warrior Legacy Ranch is located on 20 acres in beautiful Baldwin County Alabama and will provide: lodging for 40 veterans at a time with handicap accessible amenities; communal spaces designed specifically for group sharing sessions and on-site recreation.
Specifically, the proceeds from the tournament will help fund the completion of the building at Warrior Legacy Ranch - donations are tax-deductible. The building will provide amenities for disabled veterans, a communal living area, common dining area for 40, a fully equipped kitchen, 12 rooms, one bunk room with 32 beds, swimming pool, outdoor seating, and other recreational areas.
Last year, the golfers and communities of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Craft Farms, Robertsdale, Fairhope and many other surrounding communities generously donated over $46,000 to WLR, as well as time and enthusiastic support to make Tee up for the Troops charitable event a success!!
Last year’s tournament was truly a success!! Even with the cooler than average weather with over 144 golfers participated! This year we are expanding the tournament to include both Cypress Bend and Cotton Creek courses here at Craft Farms!! We will be able to host approximately 250 golfers. In addition to the charity scramble with many prize and skill holes, there will be a social event the evening prior (November 10, 2026) as well the opening ceremony to kick off the tournament the morning of the tournament (November 11, 2026).
