Delivered by an experienced Bladder & Bowel Specialist Nurse, this practical course is designed for healthcare assistants, support workers, carers and other care staff responsible for supporting individuals with urinary catheters.
Good catheter care plays a vital role in preventing infection, recognising problems early and maintaining a person's comfort, dignity and wellbeing. This course will help you develop the knowledge and confidence to provide high-quality catheter care and understand when specialist support may be required.
Drawing on real-life clinical experience, our specialist nurse will share practical advice, best practice guidance and problem-solving techniques that can be applied immediately in your workplace.
