About this Event
Did you know May is mental health awareness month? In celebration , we are slowing things down and taking time to work on our inner selfs. I am partnering with Emily McCune, an incredible yoga and breathwork instructor, and someone I’m lucky to call a friend. We will begin the night with a short breathwork and meditation session. You can expect some calming breathing techniques and some guided questions to help you drop into your body and the present moment. Then we will dive in to watercolors where we will be painting out positive affirmations on 4x6 cards. This night is going to make your brain feel soft in the best way.
All supplies will be provided but feel free to bring any other materials that will help you get into the creative zone like a sketchbook or maybe your favorite markers. No experience necessary, and all instruction will be provided.
Please arrive on time so we can have an interruption free meditaion practice.
Feel free to bring drinks or food to snack on at the event.
Casey’s Craft Club is a welcoming space to get crafty, meet friends & build community. This is a safe, stress free environment to try out new projects & materials and build a community of creative people.
Emily McCune is a San Francisco based yoga teacher who started teaching in 2019. She has always loved crafting and has found it to be a powerful tool for resetting the nervous systems.
