Our talented local artist Emilie Meredith is back! You may remember her from our popular paint nights, but this time she's teaching us a new creative skill, just in time for the holiday season!
Join us for a fun, hands-on 2.5-hour workshop where you'll learn the art of linocut printing!
Emilie will guide you through the process of carving a bird-inspired design into a soft rubber block to create your very own reusable stamp.
You'll learn carving techniques, practise using the tools, and then put your new skills to work stamping and assembling your own beautiful holiday cards. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. All materials are provided, and no previous experience is necessary! Ages 12+
🎁 You'll take home 5 handmade cards with envelopes and your own hand-carved stamp to keep creating at home!
💲 Cost: $75 per person (HST included)
📅 Date: Wednesday, November 4🕠 Time: 5:30–8:00 PM📍 Location: WBU Kanata Store, 420 Hazeldean Rd.
Space is limited. If our first workshop fills up, we might just be able to convince Emilie to come back for round two! 😉
Come learn something new, get creative, and make something special to share this holiday season! 💌
