About this Event
CARVE YOUR OWN MONSTER
AGES 13 + - Suitable for young adults and adults. No previous carving experience required
Explore the strange and fantastical creatures that have appeared in art, stories and folklore throughout history.
In this hands-on workshop at Kingswood House, you’ll choose a monster or mythical creature and transfer its image onto wood. Using simple carving techniques, you’ll learn how to shape and texture the surface, transforming a flat piece of wood into a small three-dimensional creature.
You can leave your carving natural or add colour with paint, before taking your finished monster home.
