About this Event
A day out for all the family to celebrate all the things you can do on a cargo bike. We'll have bike games, bike and food stalls, and a big bike ride with lots of cargo bikes too (ordinary bikes are also very welcome!).
On the day we are launching a report about cargo bike use in Edinburgh and the Lothians - that shows what a great idea cargo bikes are if we want to have safer, less polluting streets and as we head towards a fossil-free future. We'll have some short speeches about that too, and you can get a copy of the report. But mainly we are about having fun in cargo bikes!
We'd really like to have a world record attempt - the biggest cargo bike party ever held in Scotland! So if you have your own cargo bike we'd love you to bring it along.
If you are new to cargo bikes - or you've never tried one before - this is your chance to have a go! There is absolutely no need to have a cargo bike to come along!
This is a free event. Open to everyone. No need to book - but it does help us to get an idea of numbers, and means we can email you to give you an extra info you might need ahead of or after the event.
