Event Description:
Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition (SVBC) provides Valet Bike Parking at each Stanford University Football game. An open-air, fenced-off corral where people park bikes - your role is to keep an eye out and ensure the bikes stay safe from theft and damage!
What to Expect:
When you arrive, please check in at this location on the map.
Volunteering involves event set up and breakdown and keeping a watchful eye during the event. That's it!
A meal will be provided for volunteers, and FREE entry to watch part of the game is part of the volunteering rewards (as long as there is another volunteer to guard the bikes).
Please provide name, email, and emergency contact information for every volunteer you register - club coordinators, please do not sign up for multiple volunteer positions using a single name/email.
Qualifications
- Anyone with a desire to make their communities more safe and accesible for bikes is encouraged to volunteer with us!
- Volunteers aged 14 to 18, who are not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian are required to email in advance or bring a signed hard copy of the waiver form on the day of the event.

To arrive to Stadium gates 2 and 5, please ride your bike in or take any VTA bus that arrives near Stanford. There is no volunteer parking available on the premises, though you are welcome to try your luck in the surrounding neighbordhoods/shopping centers. See photos below:
Finding Us On Game Day
Many people park at the Trader Joes shopping center and walk along the pink line to get to their shift. You are strongly encouraged to arrive extra early in order to beat the traffic that occurs before kick off - the walk highlighed below is about 15-20 minutes long. The easiest method is to arrive by bike!
