This may be the most important local election for the future of public transit of our time!🚍🚌🚈🚝🚅🚄🚋🚎🚉🚆Knock doors with Transit Now Tampa Bay as we canvass for transit across Hillsborough County! Our campaign is "Mission: Commission" to elect Hillsborough County Commissioners who support public transit! We believe in Neil Manimala and Aileen Rodriguez, as well as incumbents Harry Cohen and Gwen Myers. Neil and Aileen have both signed-on to Transit Now's mission to improve and expand public transit! Incumbents Harry Cohen and Gwen Myers are also transit-supportive and are on the ballot this November 3rd.
We will also be spreading the word that if Amendment 3 passes, HART's total budget will be slashed by at least 18% by 2035, reducing its operating budget by 26%, meaning routes and frequencies will be completely eliminated.

Additional Event Details: Bring a smart phone and download the MiniVAN app beforehand. If you can't download the app, you will be paired with someone who has the app. Scripts will be provided. No experience necessary; we will train before heading out! Wear sunscreen, comfortable shoes, and light clothing, and bring water. A limited number of "I ❤ Public Transit" TNTB shirts may be available for volunteers for a $20 donation!
