About this Event
Canvas & Ceremony Weekend | Temple Mother Earth
Where art becomes ceremony and community becomes the canvas for remembrance.
There are moments when something inside of you wants to be expressed, but words alone are not enough.
Maybe it comes as a color. Maybe it comes as a sound. Maybe it comes through the fire, through silence, through movement, through a brush in your hand, or through the simple act of sitting in community long enough to remember yourself.
Canvas & Ceremony Weekend was created for the person who is longing for a sacred pause. A weekend away from the noise. A weekend where art becomes prayer, meals become connection, music becomes medicine for the spirit, and the act of creating becomes a ceremony in itself.
This is not a traditional workshop.
This is not just a camping weekend.
This is a sacred three-day immersive experience where creativity, fire, sound, community, rest, and integration come together inside the sanctuary of Temple Mother Earth.
What This Experience Is
Canvas & Ceremony Weekend is Temple Mother Earth’s sacred three-day gathering where the act of creation becomes a ceremony in itself.
This weekend weaves together sacred art creation, guided community space, fire circle, live music, shared meals, camping under the stars, indoor sacred space options, and spacious time for rest and integration.
No art experience is required. This is not about making something perfect. This is about allowing your inner world to be seen, felt, expressed, and honored.
Your canvas may become a mirror. Your colors may become prayers. Your words may become offerings. Your presence may become part of the ceremony.
Experience Flow
Sacred Arrival & Grounding
Guests will arrive at Temple Mother Earth and begin settling into the rhythm of the weekend. This time is for unpacking, orienting, breathing, and allowing the body to slowly transition from the pace of daily life into sacred space.
Opening Circle
We will begin with a shared opening circle to welcome the community, set intentions, and create a respectful container for the weekend. This circle is a moment to arrive fully, connect with the group, and honor the purpose of gathering.
Sacred Art Creation
Dedicated time and space will be offered for creating art in ceremony. All mediums are welcome. Painting, drawing, mixed media, movement, writing, and other creative expressions are invited. You bring your tools. The weekend provides the inspiration, space, and sacred rhythm.
Shared Meals in Community
Nourishing food will be prepared and shared together. Meals are part of the heart of this weekend. Eating together becomes a ceremony of connection, gratitude, conversation, rest, and remembering that nourishment is not only physical.
Fire Circle & Live Music
Evening gatherings around the fire will include live sound, community, song, reflection, and sacred space. The fire offers a place to soften, listen, release, receive, and be present with yourself and others.
Camping Under the Stars
Camping guests are invited to bring their own tent and sleep beneath the sky. Indoor sacred space accommodations may also be available for guests who choose that option. This part of the weekend invites simplicity, nature connection, and a deeper relationship with the elements.
Integration & Rest
There will be spacious time to integrate, rest, reflect, journal, create, and receive. Not every moment will be scheduled. The open space is intentional. Sometimes the deepest part of a weekend is the moment when nothing is being asked of you except presence.
Closing Circle
We will close the weekend together in community, honoring what was created, what was felt, what was witnessed, and what each guest is carrying home. This final circle offers grounding, reflection, and a gentle return.

A Note From Temple Mother Earth
Temple Mother Earth was created as a sacred space for people to come home to themselves. Our work is rooted in embodiment, integration, community, sacred space, and deeper connection to the God within you.
Canvas & Ceremony Weekend is an invitation to remember that creation itself can be a ceremony. You do not have to be an artist to create. You do not have to have the right words to be witnessed. You do not have to arrive complete to be welcomed.
Here, your canvas is enough. Your presence is enough. Your willingness to slow down, listen, create, rest, gather, and be in sacred community is enough.
