Canva for Designers: Level Up Your Instagram with Emily Boyce
Instagram has become an extension of a designer’s portfolio, but creating content that feels polished, consistent and true to your brand can be surprisingly time consuming.
Join RNDD for a hands on Canva workshop with Emily Boyce of Studio 990, created specifically for designers who want to make their social content work harder without spending hours designing every post.
Emily specializes in helping design professionals translate their work into polished, engaging digital content. With an eye for visual storytelling and a practical approach to Canva, she helps designers create social media that feels cohesive, elevated and reflective of their brand.
During the workshop, Emily will share approachable Canva techniques you can start using right away, including how to create more polished Reels and Stories, build stronger visual consistency, pair fonts confidently and design Reel covers that are easier to navigate and more compelling to click.
This is a working session, not a presentation full of theory, so come ready to take notes, ask questions and leave with tools you can put into practice immediately.
The workshop will be held at Areté’s Lakeshore East showroom, a beautiful downtown space overlooking the harbor.

Parking
Valet parking is available in the building’s underground garage at a discounted $10 Areté guest rate. When you arrive, let the valet know you are visiting Areté and you will receive a parking ticket. Payment can be made by cash or Zelle inside the showroom, where you will receive the parking sticker needed for departure.
Before you arrive: Bring your laptop or tablet if you would like to follow along in Canva, make sure you can log into your Canva account, and have your phone handy for Instagram demonstrations.
