Powered Up Business Networking (PUB for short, and yes, we know it's clever) is an evening networking event for small businesses and people starting out. It's for local folk on similar paths who want to learn from good speakers, swap ideas, back each other and grow their businesses.
There are no memberships or contracts, so everyone in the room has chosen to be there. Business gets done, often, but that's a bonus rather than the point. Expect a fun evening, a talk that will give you something to use in your business and well, if we had an HR department, we'd get lots of stern warnings at some of the jokes.
This month's speaker
This months speaker is Andrew Laws. He is still to decide on his talk, it could be about AI, maybe how to build trust and get more business or even about how he got over 5 million views on a fossilised Viking poo! Regardless of what it is, it will be a great talk!
Who usually turns up
Every night brings a different mix, but you'll typically find tech businesses, marketers, accountants, IFAs, web designers and developers, photographers, videographers, VAs and coaches, alongside start-ups who've only just got going. Plus lots of other different businesses. With a cap of 25 attendees, you'll get time to talk to the people you came to meet.

7.30 - Meet, greet & network. Grab a drink and speak to anyone you’d like.
7.50 - Introduction.
7.55 - Your chance to tell the room about yourself with a PUBNetworking difference…
8.20 - 1-2-1 with someone you like.
8.35 - Grab a drink/have a break.
8.50 - Presentation.
9.15 - Close the meeting and optional further networking.
9.30 - End/move into The Station Tavern to have a further drink should you wish.

We cap our events at 25 places, because we like our events to be personal. Once tickets are gone, they're gone!
