About this Event
Build strength by learning how to move well.
Mindful Movement is a beginner-friendly calisthenics class focused on body awareness, functional strength, and proper movement mechanics. Using primarily bodyweight exercises and minimal equipment, you’ll learn foundational movement patterns that you can take with you anywhere.
Each class will explore movements such as pushing, pulling, squatting, hinging, and more, with an emphasis on proper form, control, and understanding how your body works.
4 weekly opportunities to experience this class:
1-hour Full Experience: Mondays & Fridays from 6-7 AM ($20)
30-minute express Experience: Mondays & Fridays 5-5:30 PM ($15)

About the teacher:
Ben has been a personal trainer since 2015, specializing in a different kind of fitness experience—one that meets you where you actually are.
His work is rooted in functional movement, rehabilitation, chronic-illness modifications, and accessible strength training for people who haven’t always felt at home in traditional gym spaces. He believes fitness should be a relationship with your body, not a punishment for it—and that you should be the person leading that relationship.
That philosophy comes from personal experience. After graduating high school close to 300 pounds and feeling disconnected from the life he was creating, Ben found that movement could be a powerful catalyst for change. Just as importantly, he experienced the impact of having people around him who genuinely cared, supported him, and believed in what was possible.
Today, Ben brings that same spirit into his work: helping people build strength, awareness, confidence, and a more connected relationship with their bodies—without requiring them to fit into someone else’s definition of fitness.
