California Coastal Cleanup Day, Aquatic Park Berkeley
Coastal Cleanup Day is an international day of action to protect our oceans, watersheds, and wildlife from trash and plastic pollution. In collaboration with the California Coastal Commission and the Ocean Conservancy, we have participated in these events for almost 20 years!
Join one of our monthly monitoring events and cleanups and learn more about restoring the health to Aquatic Park for sharks rays and people!
Education, Science and Action- this event supported by a U.C. Berkeley Chancellor’s Community Partnership Grant.
Celebrate our own hound shark and bat ray nursery site and help us monitor and protect this beautiful park.Collect data on marine debris, plastic branding and wildlife observations.Clean up and survey, 2985 Bolivar Dr. Aquatic Park, Berkeley CA. Sign up at our table inside gate at south end.
Join our Aquatic Park Stewards team testing water quality, cleaning up marine debris and helping maintain the lagoon and park.
Meet our Friends of Aquatic Park partners and help collect data on this ongoing research and community science project.

Public transportation and carpooling encouraged!
For the cleanup we will have some equipment to share but if you have a bucket, picker and gloves, bring them please.
Gather reusable cleanup supplies from home, like a bucket and gardening gloves.
Cleanup supplies, as well as liability waivers, will be available at each cleanup site if needed.
Show up at our cleanup site at the designated time and day. Check in with on-site cleanup staff and start cleaning
