About this Event
🚨 Brand New Event Notice
This is a brand new Calgary Speed Dating event format. Because we do not yet know how long it will take to fill, we may need to move the event date further out if the date arrives and the event has not filled enough to run properly.
Our goal is to create a fun, active, and social singles game night where people can laugh, play, enjoy appetizers, and meet new people in a relaxed setting.
🎲 This Is Not Typical Speed Dating
Calgary Singles Game Night is not a traditional speed dating event. This is a social games night for singles who want something more natural, fun, and interactive.
Instead of sitting through timed one-on-one dates, you will participate in group games, laugh with other singles, and enjoy a relaxed way to meet people.

You can register as a competing single or as a spectator single.

Register for a competing spot if you want to participate in the games.

👀 Spectator Singles Spot
Register as a spectator if you want to attend, watch the games, cheer, socialize, enjoy appetizers, and meet other singles without competing in the games. You purchase your own drinks however.

🔥 Game 1: Word Clue Challenge
In the Word Clue Challenge, one person gives clues while their teammate tries to guess the word. The clue-giver cannot say the actual word.
If the team misses the word, another team gets a chance to steal. It is fast, funny, and designed to get people laughing and interacting.
💬 Game 2: Singles Social Game
The second game is designed to help singles interact with more people in a light, social, and fun way.
The goal is simple: meet people naturally, have fun, and make real conversations easier.
🍽️ Appetizers After Game 1
After the first game, we will take a break for appetizers. This gives everyone time to relax, talk, laugh about the game, and connect with other singles.
Appetizers are included. Drinks are purchased separately.
💌 Matching After the Event
Even though this is not a typical speed dating event, you will still be able to log into your profile after the event and select the people you would like to match with.
If someone you selected also selects you, it becomes a mutual match.
