About this Event
When the temperature drops, there’s nothing better than a warm, satisfying meal waiting at the end of the day. Escape the winter chill and join us for an afternoon of cooking demonstrations, tasting, and learning as we prepare comforting dishes that nourish the body and warm the soul.
From simmering soups and hearty stews to flavourful seasonal sides, you’ll discover how to give classic comfort foods a nutritious twist—without sacrificing the familiar flavours you love.
During this class, you’ll learn how to:
- Create satisfying meals rich in protein and fibre
- Use herbs, spices, and seasonal ingredients to build deep, comforting flavours
- Make simple ingredient swaps that increase nutritional value
- Prepare practical meals that are perfect for leftovers and freezing
- Bring more variety and nourishment to your winter menu
You’ll enjoy tasting samples of the dishes prepared during the demonstration and receive recipes to recreate at home. Water and tea will also be provided.
Winter is the season of cozy kitchens and meals that bring people together. Come hungry for delicious food and fresh inspiration, and leave ready to make cold days feel warmer one cozy plate at a time.
