The U.S. Small Business Administration's Massachusetts District Office in partnership with the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center's Western Regional Office and the New England Veterans Business Outreach Center is hosting “Buying a Business with SBA Resources” — a free event in celebration of National Veterans Small Business Week highlighting considerations and resources for acquiring an existing business.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
This event is designed for entrepreneurs considering buying a franchise business or acquiring a business.
- Emotional and personal financial considerations in buying a business
- How to assess a business’s attractiveness and potential value
- The role of financing in a successful acquisition
- The importance of due diligence and research
- Participants will also connect with practical resources to help them get started
WHY ATTEND
All are invited. This session connects participants with resource providers in the SBA network and highlights a panel of experts who will discuss the steps to buying a business and what it takes to succeed.
There will be outreach tables where you can network with resource providers and relevant experts you can talk to.
