Think Shark Tank, but local. For the past eight weeks, the founders in Cohort 2 of the Business Readiness Program's Idea to First Dollar incubator have been turning their business ideas into clear offers, early customers, and actual revenue. Now they get five minutes each to tell you about the business they're building, who it's for, and why it'll work. Then you decide who won you over.
They're competing for bragging rights and in-kind business support, so the stakes are real. The mood is friendly, though. No business background needed. Just show up, listen, and cheer on the people starting something here in Rock County.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Live pitches from local founders
• Feedback from community judges and guests
• Prizes
• Time to meet entrepreneurs, mentors, and supporters
WHO SHOULD COME
• Small business owners and side hustlers
• Anyone sitting on a business idea (and anyone thinking about joining a future cohort)
• Neighbors who like buying local
• The just plain curious
Come see what it really looks like to go from idea to first dollar.
