Under Pressure: Leadership & Mental Health in Today’s WorkplaceThe pressure to perform doesn’t disappear when the workday begins - and for many people, it’s getting harder to leave the challenges of everyday life at the door.
Economic uncertainty, rising costs, job insecurity, political and social division, and a constant stream of difficult news can all contribute to stress, anxiety, burnout, and disengagement. These pressures affect how we show up at work, lead our teams, make decisions, and connect with one another.
Join us for the next Business on Tap, featuring Shaun Ditty, LPC, of Central Ohio Pediatric Behavioral Health, for a candid conversation about mental health in today’s workplace and the role leaders can play in creating healthier, more supportive work environments.
Together, we’ll explore how stress and burnout can show up at work, how leaders can support their teams without taking on the role of a mental health professional, and practical strategies for managing pressure in challenging times. We’ll also discuss realistic approaches to coping during the workday, setting healthy boundaries, building small habits that make a meaningful difference, and making space for self-care - even when time and energy feel limited.
No awkward icebreakers. No forced networking. Just an honest conversation about what people are carrying - and how we can lead, work, and support one another through it.
Come for the conversation. Stay to connect with fellow business and community leaders.
