Register here: https://bit.ly/4zsDuUCJoin CVA, the Port Environment Centre and Invertebrates Australia for a morning of action and discovery at Magazine Creek Wetlands!
We'll kick off the day giving back to this important wetland habitat by removing weeds and litter. After this, we'll learn about the iNaturalist app and how you can use it everywhere you go to get involved in citizen science! We'll put these new skills to use and take a short walk around the wetlands to search for insects and upload our findings to the app. Josh and Malcolm from Invertebrates Australia will help us identify species, share their knowledge and provide tips for looking for insects!
Our findings will be uploaded as part of 'Bugs in My Backyard Week', where nature lovers across Australia head outside and uncover the wild, wonderful creatures that keep our world humming!
Enjoy morning tea with fellow nature lovers after your hard work.
