Overview
This workshop will focus on building a modern and effective editing workflow in Capture One, both for beginners, those considering migrating from other platforms, or those who have edited their images on a smartphone.
Capture One is designed around the power of the RAW file as a starting point. This workshop will uncover what separates a Session from a Catalog and how to manage your files, your backups, and efficiency.
Programming your own styles and presets can allow a simplified and repeatable editing workflow - this workshop will cover how to get started, then explore how to build on those to create a look of your own, examining possible pitfalls and how to integrate the editing mentality into your shooting sessions to improve quality and consistency.
Your Image, Edited. What to Expect
- Import and organise your own file, the way you'd do it at home.
- Apply tone changes and colour workflow.
- Explore and edit a Capture One Style.
- Set up one export recipe you will actually reuse.
Please bring one image of your own (RAW preferred) to edit during the session.
