Event Details:
Downtown Rochester has experienced significant residential growth over the past decade, made possible by developers, investors, architects, designers, builders, public partners and others who have continued to invest in the community. Building Rochester is an opportunity to celebrate that collective progress, recognize the people and partnerships behind it, and look ahead to what's next.
The event will bring together the people and organizations who have helped shape downtown housing while marking an important new milestone: the groundbreaking of Citywalk, a new 342-unit multifamily community development in the heart of downtown Rochester.
Citywalk represents continued confidence in downtown Rochester at an important moment in its growth. Located near Mayo Clinic’s expanding campus and the future Link Rapid Transit corridor, the development will include a mix of market-rate apartments and short-term fully furnished rental units, creating more opportunities for people to live downtown, and strengthening Rochester as a place to live, work and connect.
This celebration is about more than one project. It's an opportunity to recognize how far we've come together, welcome new investment, and celebrate the next chapter of downtown Rochester.
