East End Books Ptown Presents: Building Provincetown: A Guide to Its Social and Cultural History, Told Through Its Architecture, by David W. Dunlap 10/3 @ 5pm
Come learn about the history of Provincetown with New York Times Reporter David Dunlap & his comprehensive guide "Building Provincetown: A Guide to Its Social and Cultural History, Told Through Its Architecture."
There will be a talk and discussion. Come with your questions as we celebrate our little paradise at the end of the Cape!
David Dunlap’s book “Building Provincetown” documents the scope of Provincetown’s architectural history in exhaustive detail. He walks us meticulously street by street, lane by lane, bayside to backshore; to capture the varied nature of where past and present Provincetowners have lived, learned, worked, played and worshipped. As the volume’s subtitle indicates, it is, indeed, a “guide to (the town’s) social and cultural history.” - Deborah Minsky
