BSV Off Campus is back — this time with a different kind of experience! 🐾To mark International Volunteer Day, we’re inviting the BSV community to join us at VšĮ Naminukai animal shelter. Together, we’ll roll up our sleeves to help with everyday tasks and support the animals and the people who care for them.
📅 EVENT DETAILS
Date: Saturday, 5 December 2026
Location: VšĮ Naminukai, Kunigo Mykolo Dluskio gatvė 18, Mykoliškės, Vilnius District
Volunteering shifts: 9:30, with a possible second shift at 12:00, subject to demand and shelter availability
Transport: Provided; further details will be shared after registration closes
Participants: BSV parents, staff and children aged 10+. Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
Places: Strictly limited; advance registration required
🐕 WHAT TO EXPECT
From walking dogs and cleaning enclosures to general maintenance, we’ll help wherever the shelter needs us most.
Activities will depend on the shelter’s priorities on the day, so not everyone will have an opportunity to walk a dog. Some tasks may be messy, and some dogs may need extra time to feel comfortable around new people. Please come ready to help with patience, kindness and understanding.
📝 REGISTRATION
Please register here: https://tally.so/r/7XlB2z
Submitting the form does not automatically guarantee a place. Confirmed participants will receive an email with their allocated shift and further practical details.
If you receive a confirmed place but can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer it to someone on the waiting list.
We look forward to bringing the BSV community together for a day of giving back! 🐾
