Joining a reading group is a great way to meet new people and share the pleasure of reading, exchange views on the books you have read and consider books you would never have imagined reading.
Brompton Library Reading Group meets every first Tuesday of the month to discuss great titles - from classics to modern prize winners.
In January we are reading 1984 by George Orwell.
On Tuesday, 7 February we will be discussing Northern Lights by Philip Pullman.
On Tuesday, 7 March our choice is Patrick Melrose books by Edward St Aubyn.
On Tuesday, 4 April we will be discussing Normal People by Sally Rooney.
On Tuesday, 2 May we will be discussing Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie.
On Tuesday, 6 June we will discuss Solo by William Boyd.
O n Tuesday, 4 July we will talk about The Mask of Dimitrios by Eric Ambler.
O n Tuesday, 1 August, we will be discussing A Legacy by Sybille Bedford.
On Tuesday, 5 September we will be talking about The Muse by Jessie Burton.
On Tuesday, 3 October we will be discussing The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah.
On Tuesday, 7 November we will be talking about Human Acts by Han Kang.
On Tuesday, 5 December we will talk about The Man from London by Georges Simenon.
On Tuesday, 9 January we will be discussing The Painted Veil by W. Somerset Maugham.
On Tuesday, 6 February we will be discussing Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.
Copies of the books are available for pick up at Brompton Library.
