What is the Liquid Breathwork Practitioner Training?
A 3-day immersive breathwork teacher training in Phoenix, Arizona. Hands-on, intimate, and unlike any other breathwork certification you'll find. We cap enrollment at 6 people that way you get more one on one focus for learning.
What makes this different?
Most breathwork trainings teach one technique. We dive deep into Liquid Breathwork, but still educate you on other styles out there so you are full of knowledge. We also go over different breathing practices for different purposes for your client or yourself.
Our surrender-based methodology is not the intense, cathartic, screaming breathwork you may have seen online or tried yourself. It's fluid, intuitive, and gentle for your future clients AND for the people in your life who would never try "that kind of breathwork." Nothing is forced on you or the breather. We are here to cover safety as number one and how to handle people of all ages and of all nervous system states. We will dive deeper into your own practice as well.
It's nervous system friendly. It's trauma-informed. And it's led by a Registered Nurse which means safety is the foundation.

Shelby Von Oepen is a Registered Nurse with 14 years of clinical experience and co-founder of Liquid Breathwork. She brings a clinical lens to every session, grounding the work in nervous system science and emotional safety.
Ryan McBurney is the creator of the surrender-based breathwork methodology. He has guided thousands of people through transformative breathwork experiences and brings years of facilitation mastery to everything he teaches.
Together they have guided thousands of people through breathwork from intimate private sessions to wellness conferences with 200+ attendees. They are two of the most trusted voices in surrender-based breathwork facilitation.
