About this Event
When life feels busy or emotionally demanding, it can be difficult to slow down and reconnect with yourself. Your breath is always present, but you may not often have the opportunity to notice how it relates to your body, attention, and moment-to-moment experience.
Breathwork for Grounded Presence: The Breath of Liberation is a beginner-friendly, two-hour in-person workshop exploring conscious breathing as a practice of body awareness and presence. No previous breathwork experience is required. You will be invited to notice your breathing, explore gentle practices, and observe your own responses without forcing a particular outcome.
What We’ll Explore
• Notice your natural breath and the sensations that accompany it.
• Explore how conscious attention to breathing may support presence.
• Practice gentle breathing exercises at your own pace.
• Compare your experience before, during, and after a practice.
• Develop a simple breath-awareness practice for everyday life.
What You Take With You
You leave with greater awareness of your breathing patterns, practical ways to pause and reconnect with your body, and a gentle practice you can use when you want to become more present and intentional.
Format and Participation
This workshop takes place in-person and lasts two hours. Participation supports connection, communication, and responsive facilitation.
You retain personal choice within every exercise. You may breathe normally, choose a gentler variation, pause, observe, or decline an individual practice. Personal sharing is optional. If you need an accessibility accommodation or participation alternative, please contact us before registering.
How This Fits Within EASE
This is one of four EASE Foundations experiences. Each occurrence is a complete, standalone workshop; the classes do not need to be taken in a particular order. Together, the four experiences offer a broader foundation for body awareness, presence, connection with yourself, and possible deeper EASE training.
Scope and Considerations
This is an educational, experiential wellness workshop—not therapy, medical treatment, diagnosis, or crisis support. Breath practices can affect people differently. Work gently and remain within your comfort. You may return to normal breathing or observe at any time. If you have health concerns about breathwork, consult an appropriate qualified professional before participating.
