This three‑session series is designed for the woman who finds herself at a crossroads. The woman still raising a family while building a career. The woman whose time is claimed by everyone else’s needs. The woman navigating the shifts of age, empty nesting, retirement, menopause or post‑menopause - and realizing she has been holding her breath for forty years waiting for the “right time” to take care of herself.
This is that time.
Across three sessions, you’ll explore the power of your breath as a stabilizing force - a tool you can access anytime, anywhere, in any season of life. Through gentle movement and simple, repeatable breathing practices, you’ll learn how to regulate your nervous system, soften overwhelm, strengthen your inner steadiness, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been waiting to exhale. This series is not about performance. It’s about remembering.
What You’ll Experience
Each session blends:
Gentle, accessible movement
Guided breathwork
Intuitive pacing based on the energy of the day
Practices you can take into your daily life
You’ll learn how breath can help you relax, release, strengthen, and become - no matter what life is asking of you.
The Transformation
When life is busy, overwhelming, or constantly shifting, your breath becomes your anchor. By the end of this series, you’ll understand how to use your breath as:
A stabilizer
A reset
A source of strength
A pathway back to yourself
Your breath is the one true constant in your life.
This series teaches you how to trust it - and how to trust yourself.

Women of all ages and stages who are ready to stop waiting for the “right time” and begin tending to their own wellbeing. If you’ve been stretched thin, pulled in many directions, or longing for a deeper sense of presence and steadiness, this series was created for you.
Your Keeper: Cheryl Murman
Cheryl began her personal yoga journey while still in high school in the late 70's.However, it was in her early 20’s, after recovering from a long illness that she found fitness, movement and a renewed love for yoga. Her recovery came slowly. The internet didn’t exist "back in the old days" and living in a rural area, there weren’t any yoga studios. Luckily, she had books and a voracious love of learning. By the mid 1980’s, she was living in a small town in Middle Tennessee. She began teaching fitness & wellness classes at the Shelbyville recreation center. It was old school aerobics and she loved it! Over the years, she began incorporating her love of yoga into all of her classes. She also integrated yoga while working with her personal training clients.Throughout the years, Cheryl taught in many gyms and a few yoga studios. Luckily, Cheryl envisioned a different kind of yoga center. She longed for a center that didn’t have 10 different styles of yoga and 25 different teachers. She wanted an intimate setting for people to explore how yoga, movement and breath work could help them live healthier lives. A place to heal and be free from pain. Her vision came to life and she opened The Chattanooga Yoga Center in 2014. Since then, The Chattanooga Yoga Center has been going strong for over 12 years! She is a Certified Yoga Teacher and Certified Yoga Therapist through The International Yoga Therapy Association. She is a certified Personal Trainer & Group Fitness instructor. Cheryl has over 30 years of teaching experience and 10’s of thousands of hours teaching yoga and healthy movement. She is also certified at the Master Level in Reiki Healing and is a certified Life coach.More than anything she loves watching her students grow and heal. They inspire her more and more every day to continue to learn and to grow herself.
