About this Event

Breaking Bread is an in-person lunch and conversation for community leaders interested in unity across diverse faiths and cultures.

Join us on October 29, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, for a conversation on “Exploring Unity in the Midst of Diverse Faiths and Culture.”

Registration is required to attend the lunch.

Guest Speaker

David Beasley is a distinguished leader, humanitarian, and former Governor of South Carolina who accepted the Nobel Peace Prize in 2020.

About the Conversation

Breaking Bread recognizes the importance of dialogue and sustained conversation among diverse populations and faith organizations to promote racial and cultural unity in our city. A small documentary film crew will be present to capture the conversation for Breaking Bread’s national listening tour and will keep a low profile. At check-in, you’ll be asked whether you’re open to being on camera; it is completely fine to say no.

Conversations hosted by Nashville First Church of the Nazarene, 510 Foundation, and Act Now.
