Presented in partnership with Brand X, join us for the work-in-progress showing of Joshua Di Mattina-Beven and Mym Kwa’s NAUSEOUS CONDITIONS, a duet of mutual transformation.
Born from early developments with Brand X and Readymade Works in Sydney, Josh and Mym have been misusing wayfinding systems to reorient the body and self in space.
Layering movement systems such as google maps, semaphores, gyroscopes and hypnotism, NAUSEOUS CONDITIONS seeks to make contact with the unexpected.
The showing will be followed by a short Q+A with the artists and The Mill CEO/Artistic Director Katrina Lazaroff.
