Class Description
Beginning students will explore the fundamentals of stained glass layout, cutting and assembly. Learn techniques such as copper foiling, lead came, soldering and finishing. Leave with at least two stained glass projects ready for window hanging. (cost includes materials). Intermediate students who have taken at least 1 prior class may suggest projects that the instructor will review and advise if feasible to complete within the allotted 10 class sessions.
Instructor Ron Zwerdling is a local resident/artist who has been working with stained glass for the past 25 years. He has taught many beginning and advanced students basic fundamentals. His work is displayed in private collections, at local businesses, and at Manhattan University.
