Class Description
You will explore the exciting world of linocut printmaking. Natural floor linoleum is the material we will use to cut out and print using our etching press: this is similar to floor linoleum however, it is all natural with no plastic. Students will learn how to design, carve, ink, and print their own creations, exploring composition, texture, and pattern. You will learn how to draw, transfer and carve your own drawing leaving with your own custom prints and carved blocks of linoleum. This hands-on class encourages experimentation and creative problem-solving. We will be using water soluble printmaking inks that are solvent free. Great for all experience levels. This is an adult class.
