Join me at Violet Hill Studios, St John's Wood, for a practical, hands-on 2-Day Introduction to Bowen Therapy.
Whether you're considering a new career, would like to add Bowen to your existing therapy practice, or are simply curious about learning a gentle hands-on approach to health and wellbeing, this weekend is designed to give you a real experience of Bowen.
No previous therapy experience is required.
What will I learn?
During the weekend you'll:
• Learn the principles behind Bowen Therapy
• Learn and practise core Bowen techniques
• Give and receive Bowen
• Develop your hands-on skills and confidence
• Receive individual guidance and feedback
• Discover how Bowen can fit alongside other therapies
• Learn about the pathway to professional Bowen practitioner training
This is a small, supportive and practical course, with plenty of time to practise rather than simply sitting and listening.
Who is the course for?
The weekend is suitable for complete beginners as well as massage therapists, reflexologists, complementary therapists, movement and fitness professionals, healthcare professionals, or anyone considering a new direction.
You don't need to know that you want to become a Bowen practitioner. You can simply come and discover whether Bowen is for you.
Your tutor
I'm Amanda Philipe-Savage, founder of Enjoy Better Health and a Bowen College UK Tutor since 2019.
I've worked therapeutically for more than 30 years, and my teaching style is relaxed, practical and supportive.
Classes are kept small so that everyone receives individual attention and has the opportunity to develop confidence in their hands.
Bowen College UK training is accredited, inclusive and delivered by experienced, DBS-checked tutors working within robust safeguarding standards.
What if I want to take Bowen further?
If you fall in love with Bowen, this introductory weekend can become your first step towards professional training through the Certificate in Bowen Healthcare Therapy (CBHT), starting in March 2027.
The full cost of your Introduction to Bowen Therapy course is credited towards your professional training if you decide to continue.
There's no obligation to progress, come and experience Bowen first and see where it takes you.
