Join Black Queer Literary Experience (BQLE) for our first in-person book social at Side Saddle Wine Saloon & Bar in Atlanta.
We're bringing together Black queer readers, authors, and book lovers for an afternoon of meeting new faces, sharing our love of literature, and enjoying a little Western-inspired fun.
And what better place to gather than Side Saddle, a queer- and woman-owned establishment that welcomes and celebrates LGBTQ+ guests!
THE WRAPPED BOOK EXCHANGE
Bring one wrapped book and leave with a surprise! Keep the title and cover hidden so whoever chooses your book gets a little mystery with their next read.
WHAT TO WEAR
Cowgirl or Cowboy Chic is encouraged, but absolutely optional! Whether you're rocking boots and a hat or showing up in your everyday style, you're welcome. No costume required. Come as you are!
The books bring us together. The boots are just for fun!
