Join us on Friday 13th November for an extra special literary themed pub quiz, hosted by the author of ‘The Book Lover’s Quiz’ series - Gary Wigglesworth.
Gary Wigglesworth was a bookseller for 16 years and now works in publishing. As well as writing his ‘Book Lover’s’ quiz books, he is a regular host of literary and film pub quizzes in London.
Books for local schools:
All proceeds from the evening will go towards supplying books for local schools. This is in conjunction with The National Year of Reading, which we have been raising money for throughout the year.
It will be an evening of book-ish fun, with a raffle, prizes to win, and locally sourced drinks from our Bookshop Bar.
This is a great event to come to on your own to meet likeminded book lovers, or come with a group! Teams will be organised on the door. If you would like to come as a team, we will do our best to accommodate you on the evening of the event.
