Please come to our next (double) chapbook launch - Sarah Dowling and Helen HumphreysSarah Dowling - In a series of glimpses across landscapes, That Colour considers what holds us together—bodily and communally. An oblique dialogue with the works of Etel Adnan, this poem examines environments riven by violence and how we are placed within them.
Helen Humphreys ponders our relationship to rain, considers the
sacred rite of swimming, traces the life of a pond, and shows the risk one man will take to save a beloved dog. Here are two essays, a short story, and a poem, all on the subject of water...
The authors will do a reading followed by a conversation.
