Book Launch: Rose Smith presents The Shared Life of Egan and Lucian
In conversation with Ada Calhoun
With a special reading by April Matthis
Debut novelist Rose Smith launches The Shared Life of Egan and Lucian, an epic and engrossing novel about identical twin brothers, the woman they both love, and the secrets at the heart of the beautiful, rugged Maine island they call home. "A luminous debut... The author shines in her complex depictions of the characters’ relationships and their double lives... It’s a heartrending exploration of passion and the various forms love can take," (Publishers Weekly, starred review). Local novelist and memoirist Ada Calhoun (Crush, St. Marks is Dead) returns to join Smith in conversation, before an audience Q&A and signing; and a special reading by Obie-award-winning actor April Mathis.
