🇭🇷 Rocky Hill Hike Tour @ BOF 2026🥾 Postoji Baška koju poznajete s razglednica, a postoji i ona do koje možete doći samo uz malo truda. Ove godine vodimo vas upravo tamo! ⛰️
Ovogodišnji Rocky Hill Hike Tour donosi 14,5 kilometara planinarske avanture istočnim bašćanskim grebenom, kroz borove šume, preko Mjesečevog platoa i kamenitih pašnjaka koji čuvaju tragove stoljetne pastirske tradicije.
🌲 Put nas najprije vodi prema Zakamu, gdje se otvara pogled na Bašku, more, crkvu sv. Ivana i otočić Prvić. Nakon uspona izlazimo na Mjesečev plato, a zatim nastavljamo prema jednom od glavnih odredišta ovogodišnje ture, lokvi Diviška.
Ovdje ćemo predahnuti i upoznati zanimljiv dio otočne baštine. Lokvu okružuju kameni pastirski zidovi koji su je nekada dijelili na pet dijelova za napajanje ovaca. Uz malo sreće, iznad grebena možda ugledamo i bjeloglave supove! 🦅
Slijedi nastavak prema vrhu Hlam (461 m), s pogledima na susjedne vrhove, zapadni greben Bašćanske doline i prostrane pašnjake, a potom spuštanje Putem ka Mjesecu natrag u Bašku.
⛰️ Jedna tura, 14,5 kilometara i Baška kakvu s rive jednostavno ne možete vidjeti.

🇬🇧 Rocky Hill Hike Tour @ BOF 2026
🥾 There's the Baška you know from postcards. And then there's the Baška you have to put in a little effort to discover. This year, we're taking you there! ⛰️
The 2026 Rocky Hill Hike Tour takes you on a 14.5-kilometre hiking adventure along the eastern ridge of Baška Valley, through pine forests, across the Moon Plateau and over rocky pastures where traces of the island's centuries-old shepherding traditions are still visible.
🌲 Our journey begins with a hike towards Zakam, where the first sweeping views of Baška, the sea, St John's Church and the island of Prvić open up. From there, we climb onto the Moon Plateau and continue towards one of this year's main highlights, the Diviška watering hole.
We'll take a break here and discover a fascinating piece of the island's heritage. The watering hole is surrounded by traditional stone walls that once divided it into five sections for watering sheep. And if we're lucky, we might even spot griffon vultures soaring above the ridge! 🦅
The adventure continues towards Hlam peak (461 m), with views of the surrounding summits, the western ridge of Baška Valley and vast rocky pastures. From there, we make our way back to Baška along the Path to the Moon.
⛰️ One hike, 14.5 kilometres and a side of Baška you'll never discover from the waterfront.
Participation is FREE, but places are limited to 120 hikers. Register in time and join us! 🔥
