About this Event
Have you ever entered a room and immediately felt different—or noticed that time with certain people left you feeling unexpectedly heavy, calm, energized, or unsettled? These experiences can be easy to dismiss when we have not learned how to recognize what our bodies may be communicating.
Body Awareness & Energy Sensitivity: Awakening the Subtle is a beginner-friendly, two-hour in-person workshop exploring body awareness, subtle sensation, and our responses to people and environments. No previous experience or particular belief about energy is required. The focus is on noticing your own experience with curiosity, staying grounded, and developing greater awareness of how your body responds.
What We’ll Explore
• Notice physical sensations and shifts in attention.
• Explore how different environments may affect your embodied experience.
• Practice distinguishing direct observation from interpretation.
• Reflect on your responses without labeling a person, place, or condition as harmful.
• Develop a simple awareness practice for everyday life.
What You Take With You
You leave with a clearer vocabulary for describing what you notice, a more grounded relationship with subtle sensations, and a practical way to pause and check in with your body before reacting or making assumptions.
Format and Participation
This workshop takes place in person and lasts two hours. Participation supports connection, communication, and responsive facilitation.
You retain personal choice within every exercise. You may pause, modify, observe, or decline an individual practice. Personal sharing is invited only at your comfort level. If you need an accessibility accommodation or participation alternative, please contact us before registering.
How This Fits Within EASE
This is one of four EASE Foundations experiences. Each occurrence is a complete, standalone workshop; the classes do not need to be taken in a particular order. Together, the four experiences offer a broader foundation for body awareness, presence, connection with yourself, and possible deeper EASE training.
This is an educational, experiential wellness workshop—not therapy, medical treatment, diagnosis, or crisis support.
