About this Event
Join the Lakes Area BMC team at the Coniston Mountain Rescue Station, for a social evening with refreshments, presentations and Q&A with the Coniston Mountain Rescue team and charity ‘Every Life Matters’, followed by a tour of the base in three groups (first aid, base and radios, vehicles and stretchers).
If you or anyone in your party can’t attend after booking, please let us know so we can offer the place to others.
Meeting Details:
From 5.00pm - Refreshments and social at the MRT station
6.00pm - BMC Lakes Area general meeting
6.45pm - Presentation on behalf of EVERY LIFE MATTERS - charity involved with action against suicide in Cumbria (https://www.every-life-matters.org.uk)
7.00pm - Presentation and Q&A by member of Coniston MRT
7.30pm - Tour of Base in 3 groups (first aid, base & radios, vehicles & stretchers)
9.00pm Finish

Who Can Attend:
BMC members and others are invited to join. The event is free. There will be the opportunity to donate to Coniston MRT and Every Life Matters charity.
Anyone, Under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be always kept under close control, please indicate on your booking if you will be bringing a dog
