About this Event
The Bloomington Motion Artists Group was started in April 2023 as an open meetup group for professionals, aspiring professionals, and hobbyists. Anything from an indie filmmaker, to a sound editor, to a working motion graphic designer to a videographer and more. The goal is to bring together media creatives of all types and share experiences in a chill social club setting.
"BMAG" was inspired by similar meetup groups in Chicago (the Chicago Motion Artists Group) and in Austin (the Austin Motion Artists Group), both of which were enormously successful in building bridges between media disciplines during their lifespans.
