Plant Milk by DefaultA launch party at Thistle inside oak
We’re making a small change with a bigger intention.
Join us at Thistle as we celebrate the launch of Plant Milk by Default, our commitment to making plant-based milk the standard rather than the alternative.
Inspired by the work of The Joyful Vegans, Planted, and The Reducetarians, we’re changing our alternative milk pricing and removing the surcharge. Because choosing a plant milk shouldn’t feel like choosing something extra.
And there’s good reason to make the switch. Plant-based milks generally use significantly fewer resources than dairy, including up to 80% less water, 80% less land, and 60% less energy. Oat milk in particular offers a more compassionate choice for animals within our food system.
This launch party is our way of celebrating that change and sharing why we believe small, everyday choices can add up to something meaningful.
Come grab a drink, try your favorite with plant milk, learn a little more, and raise a glass to better choices for our planet, our diets, and the animals we share it with.
