Bloom and Belong
Bloom & Belong is a beginner-friendly watercolour workshop celebrating the joys of summer, creativity, and giving yourself permission to slow down and play.
Together, we’ll paint an overflowing cheerful botanical bouquet nestled in a vase, playing with loose florals, expressive colours, and simple watercolour techniques.
During the workshop, we will reflect on the concept of belonging—every flower is different and grows at its own pace, in its own way. Flowers are queer icons and come in all shapes and sizes. They remind us that we don't have to bloom in the same way to belong in the same garden.
No previous painting experience is needed! This workshop is designed to be relaxed and focused on enjoying the process rather than creating a “perfect” painting.
