Why we're hosting this session
The recent National Maternity and Neonatal Investigation, led by Baroness Valerie Amos, highlighted racism, discrimination and inequalities as significant concerns within maternity and neonatal services. The investigation heard experiences of women not being listened to or believed, as well as unfair or unequal treatment, stereotyping and discrimination.
A space to be heard
This listening session is an opportunity for Black women in our local communities to share their own experiences of maternity and neonatal care. 👩🏾🍼

✨ What you think needs to change
Why it matters
Your experiences will help us work with local maternity and neonatal services to understand where improvements are needed, and how services can become safer, more equitable, inclusive and responsive to Black women. 🌍

The session will provide a safe and welcoming space where you can speak openly about your experiences. 🤝
