FILM 3PM
Black Power: A British Story of Resistance looks back at the Black Power movement in the late 1960s and 70s in the UK. It examines the individuals and the cultural forces that defined the era of resistance and change, and the fight against racism. The film brings to life one of the key cultural revolutions in the history of the nation. In the spirit of Sankofa, we look back and take the lessons from the past to move forward in the current fight against resurgent racism globally and in the UK.
