We’re gearing up for our Black August Community Cookout —a day of celebration, solidarity, and mutual aid in the heart of Harlem. This year, we’re not just filling plates... with community support, we’re filling backpacks too!

What: FREE BBQ feast + Book and School Supplies Giveaway + Poetry Workshops and festivities !
We're gathering school supplies to distribute to the community and taking donations to make sure everyone gets fed please see flyers below on how you can make this FREE grassroots event a success!
We'll have music, speakers, workshops on the lawn, free bbq, book and backpack give aways! We hope you'll brig a blanket, your lil cousin or your whole family to hang to with us and commemorate Black August together!
