This Halloween, prepare to be Bitten by the Bay.
Join us at the 4-star Hyatt Centric Mountain View for a Halloween night filled with cocktails, costumes, dancing, prizes, and plenty of opportunities to meet people throughout the night.
Singles, couples, and friends are all welcome.
And because we know many of you are coming single, our VIP singles experience returns this Halloween as the VIP Singles Sanctuary Lounge—a private, low-lit lounge exclusively for singles.
This isn't simply another Saturday night at a crowded bar. It's a six-hour Halloween experience with multiple spaces, each offering a different way to enjoy the night.
Dance when you want to dance. Mingle when you want to mingle. Step outside when you want to talk.
Put together a costume, grab your friends—or come on your own—and join us for one of our biggest parties of the year.

For more than a decade, we've been producing large Halloween Costume & Dance Parties in the Bay Area, with past themes including Bewitched by the Bay, Ghosted by the Bay, and Zombied by the Bay.
Every year brings a new theme, new costumes—and plenty of new people.

🏨 WHY CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN AT A 4-STAR HOTEL?
Halloween should feel like an event—not just another Saturday night at a crowded bar.
We're returning to the beautiful Hyatt Centric Mountain View, where our Halloween party will take over multiple spaces on the second floor.
You'll have room to mingle, move around, show off your costume, dance, and actually enjoy the people you're with.
And because this is Halloween, space matters. Costumes are a lot more fun when you have room to move, mingle, dance—and let people actually see them.
We've created different environments so you can enjoy the party however you want.
🌘 THE TWILIGHT LOUNGE
Your night begins in the Twilight Lounge, our spacious pre-function social area.
Check in, grab a drink, check out the costumes, and start meeting people before venturing deeper into the party.
It's the perfect place to ease into the evening before deciding where the night takes you.
🩸 THE CRIMSON BALLROOM
When you're ready to turn up the energy, enter the darkened Crimson Ballroom, illuminated with red backlighting, special lighting, and effects for Halloween.
This is the heart of Bitten by the Bay—home to our dance floor, Halloween costume contest, bar, and the VIP Singles Sanctuary Lounge.
And once you're inside the Crimson Ballroom, be careful.
This is where most of the biting happens.
🎧 DJ DAVE X — BACK IN THE BOOTH
DJ Dave X is back for Bitten by the Bay.
He's kept our Halloween and NYE's dance floors packed when he is the DJ!. He reads the crowd and plays nothing but top dance hits. Throwbacks. Party anthems. No dead dance floor.
🌙 THE MOONLIGHT TERRACE AT VIEW ON TWO
Want a break from the dance floor and somewhere you can actually have a conversation?
Weather permitting, step outside to the Moonlight Terrace at View on Two, the Hyatt's spacious outdoor patio.
Grab a drink at the outdoor bar, enjoy the night air, admire the costumes, and mingle away from the music.
In past years, the patio has become one of our guests' favorite places to hang out, have a drink, and talk.
Sometimes the best part of a party is having somewhere you can actually hear each other.
Outdoor patio and bar availability is weather permitting.
👑 VIP SINGLES SANCTUARY LOUNGE
Coming single? We've created a space just for you.
Our VIP singles experience returns this Halloween as the VIP Singles Sanctuary—a private, low-lit lounge inside the Crimson Ballroom reserved exclusively for singles.
It's your place to mingle, meet other singles, have a conversation, enjoy complimentary appetizers, or simply take a break from the dance floor before heading back into the party.
VIP Singles Sanctuary admission includes everything included with General Admission, plus:
- Exclusive access to the VIP Singles Sanctuary Lounge
- A private, low-lit environment reserved for singles
- Limited seating
- Complimentary appetizers while supplies last
VIP Singles Sanctuary tickets are limited.
Both singles and couples are welcome throughout Bitten by the Bay. The VIP Singles Sanctuary is the one part of the party reserved exclusively for singles.

Even the cocktails are getting into character.

📸 DRESS UP. SHOW UP. GET THE PICTURE.
We're creating a special Halloween photo backdrop for premium photo opportunities throughout the night.
So this is one Halloween when putting a little extra effort into your costume might pay off twice—once in the costume contest and again when you see the pictures afterward.
Costumes aren't required, but strongly recommended.
You'll have a lot more fun if you dress up.
Go scary. Go sexy. Go funny. Go elegant. Go completely ridiculous.
Just don't go boring.
🏆 HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST
Entering couldn't be easier:
Just show up in ANY costume.
We'll award prizes for:
Best Lady Vampiress • Best Gentleman Vampire • Most Creative Costume
The deadline for entering is 9:30 PM, so don't arrive too late if you want your shot at a prize.
Our mysterious judges will select the finalists.
But they won't choose the winners.
The crowd will.
The winners will be announced in the Crimson Ballroom at 10:30 PM.
⏰ SCHEDULE
- 6:00 PM — Event & cocktail mixer begins
- 7:30 PM — DJ Dave X takes over the Crimson Ballroom
- 9:30 PM — Costume contest entry deadline
- 10:30 PM — Costume contest winners announced in the Crimson Ballroom
- 12:00 AM — Party ends
Come early. The mixer is part of the experience and gives everyone time to grab a drink, check out the costumes, and start meeting people before the music gets louder and the dance floor takes over.

Book a room, check in, get dressed upstairs, take the elevator to the party, and when the night is over, your room is only a short elevator ride away.
No long drive home. No rushing out early.

🚗 PARKING OPTIONS
FREE EVENT PARKING: Available in the garage adjacent to the left side of the hotel when facing the property. Look for the PUBLIC PARKING entrance. Parking is free until 1:00 AM.
Please do not leave your vehicle in this area overnight, as you risk being ticketed or towed. Free lot parking is also available in front of 24 Hour Fitness.
OVERNIGHT HOTEL PARKING: Available in the adjacent garage. Look for the HOTEL PARKING sign. Overnight parking is only $10 for hotel guests. At the gate, call the front desk and let them know you are checking in for the event.
Pro Tip: Don't leave valuables or anything visible in your vehicle. Event organizers are not responsible for loss, damage, parking citations, or towing expenses.
📋 THE NOT-SO-FINE PRINT
This event is 21+. The recommended age is 35+.
Tickets are non-refundable but transferable. To transfer a ticket, the new attendee should reference the original purchaser's name at check-in.
We reserve the right to refuse admission. Event organizers and Hyatt Centric staff reserve the right to remove anyone whose behavior is inappropriate or disruptive.
